Description
The granular fill disposable Reliable filter uses a premium grade activated carbon for the purification of air streams in occupied spaces for improved indoor air quality. The unique honeycomb design along with granular activated carbon gives exceptional performance and long life for recalculating air applications.
The granular filter comes in a variety of standard sizes. Custom sizes and specialty activated carbons are also available. These filters reduce energy cost, have low air flow resistance, are lightweight and durable. They can also be easily installed with existing particulate filtration media. The granular Reliable filter is also available with a 1/4" non-woven, one sided polyester for dust control.
The granular filter is fabricated of a rigid support structure and charged with premium grade coconut shell activated carbon. The activated carbon has a surface area of 1100 square meters per gram or over one million square feet of surface area per square foot of filter. The activated carbon is loaded into the filter constructed in a partial bypass configuration to promote odor removal and long life in a recalculating application. The actual life of the filter is a function of the dust and vapor contaminant condition of each application.
